A study carried out by the Irish Hospice Foundation revealed that between 36,000 and 60,000 children in Ireland could have experienced a bereavement in their lifetime.
Project Leader Sr. Helen Culhane attended the launch of a new network set up due to the research carried out called ‘The Irish Childhood Bereavement Network’, which will offer support to professionals and organisations helping children that have suffered the loss of a loved one.
