Sunday July 14 was an unforgettable day for Limerick Senior hurling When Limerick claimed their first Munster senior hurling title since 1996 with a deserved nine-point success against Cork in front of their home fans in the Gaelic Ground. And following on from that great game Limerick won their first Munster Minor hurling title in 29 years on 23rd thanks to a thrilling 1-20 to 4-8 win over Waterford in Semple Stadium where Limerick were outstanding from start to finish .
