On Sunday March 6th, we hosted our 2nd Annual International Women’s Day Fundraising Lunch at Adare Manor Hotel.
We are truly grateful to have had nearly 300 guests celebrate International Women’s Day together with us, all while raising much needed funds for the Centre.
Our MC, James Sexton from HIYA Event Management kicked off our day and had every single person there feeling energized. We danced, we sang and celebrated together.
We are so grateful to our wonderful speakers Dr. Sinead Kane, Hazel Hartigan & Muireann O’Connell.
Claire Brock hosted a very moving interview panel discussion with our speakers.
We would also like to give special thanks to Barry Murphy from Hermitage Green for coming to give us a Live performance of his Song written in memory of Anthony Foley.
The day would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the help and support from all the wonderful local businesses who donated a vast variety of prizes. To Shaws Department Stores for gifting each guest, a luxury goody bag filled with cosmetic items, to Jo Malone London (Brown Thomas, 14 – 16 O’Connell Street, Limerick, Ireland) for sponsoring all our gifts and great prizes for the tables on the day.
There are so many people that played a special role in making the day what it was and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped, sponsored, donated and supported us.
Finally, we would like to say a massive thank you to our Ambassador, Olive Foley who brought Sunday into reality. We will be forever indebted to you Olive for all that you do for us. Thank you for hosting this event for us and for supporting the Centre.
