Áras an Uachtaráin 29th June Garden Party
‘Many Are Called, But Few Are Chosen’
People from all over Ireland were invited as guests of honour to the President’s Garden Party of 2018 on Friday last, the 29th June. The event was organised to pay tribute to the love, friendship and solidarity that binds us together as people and as a nation. President Michael D. Higgins and his wife, Sabina are organising eight such events this summer, welcoming over 4,000 people into Áras an Uachtaráin.
Children’s Grief Centre are very proud to announce that our own Philip Mortell, Chair, Board of Management and Mary Browne, Support Worker, both volunteers here at the Centre for many years were invited to attend this prestigious event. We are extremely honoured and delighted for Philip and Mary who are pictured below with President Michael D. and Sabina Higgings along with their beautiful dogs, Shadow and Brod.
